General Terms & Conditions
The terms for the provision of accommodation services at Villa Severka.
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "GTC") is to create a legal framework for the relationship between the operator of the accommodation facility and the client, in order to ensure that the client is informed about the conditions under which the services are provided.
These GTC become binding on the operator on the day of their publication and on the client at the moment of ordering a service.
I. Definition of terms
- Client – a natural or legal person who concludes a contract for the provision of services with the operator or sends a binding order.
- Operator – the Villa Severka accommodation facility, operated by a natural person: Tatiana Tursunovová, with registered office at Dankovského 9, 811 03 Bratislava, Company ID (IČO): 43291317, registered in the relevant register. Address of the premises (accommodation facility): Villa Severka, Nový Smokovec 19036, Vysoké Tatry. Contact e-mail: info@villaseverka.sk, phone: +421 908 105 084.
- Service – accommodation services in the Villa Severka apartments and related services.
II. Conclusion of the contract
- The contract is formed when the operator confirms the client's order (reservation). Confirmation may be made in writing, by e-mail or via the reservation system.
- By concluding the contract, the operator undertakes to provide the client with services in the agreed scope and quality, while the client is obliged to pay the agreed price.
- The client is obliged to provide true and complete personal data. The processing of this data takes place in accordance with the Privacy Policy (GDPR) for Villa Severka.
III. Accommodation services
- The operator is obliged to make the reserved accommodation available to the client from the agreed arrival time (check-in from 2:00 p.m.). The client is not entitled to a specific apartment unless this has been specifically agreed with the operator.
- On the agreed day of departure, the client is obliged to vacate the accommodation no later than the specified departure time (check-out by 10:00 a.m.).
- The client is obliged to report any shortcomings or damage to the operator immediately upon discovery.
IV. Prices and payment terms
- The client is obliged to pay the agreed price for the services provided, as stated in the reservation confirmation.
- Prices are stated in EUR including VAT. Local taxes and fees (the local accommodation fee payable to the municipality) may be charged separately.
- Payment is possible by methods approved by the operator (e.g. bank transfer or online payment in the reservation system).
V. Cancellation terms
- The client has the right to cancel the ordered accommodation.
- The cancellation terms and the amount of any cancellation fees are stated in the reservation confirmation and depend on the chosen rate type or season.
- Cancellation can be made in writing by e-mail to info@villaseverka.sk. The date of cancellation is deemed to be the day on which the written notice is delivered.
VI. Rights and obligations of clients
- The client is obliged to observe the internal accommodation rules of the Villa Severka facility, with which they are acquainted on arrival.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the facility (in all indoor areas of the apartments).
- Pets are permitted only by prior arrangement with the operator.
- During quiet hours (10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) the client is obliged to behave so as not to disturb other guests in the building.
- The client is liable for any damage caused to the property of the Villa Severka facility by them or by persons using the accommodation with them.
- On arrival the client is obliged to present a valid identity document (ID card or passport) for the purposes of the statutory register of guests and the keeping of the house book.
VII. Liability of the operator
- The operator is not liable for damage to items left outside the designated or locked areas of the apartments.
- The operator is not liable for service outages caused by circumstances of force majeure (e.g. extreme adverse weather in the mountain area, large-scale power outages).
VIII. Complaints
- The client is obliged to report any shortcomings without delay during the stay, so that they can be remedied by the operator.
- Complaints submitted after the end of the stay need not be taken into account.
- A complaint will be handled no later than 30 days from the date it is lodged.
- Complaints are governed by the relevant provisions of Act No. 250/2007 Coll. on consumer protection, as amended.

IX. Final provisions
- These GTC are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic.
- Consumers have the right to alternative dispute resolution under Act No. 391/2015 Coll. via the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk) or the ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
- The operator reserves the right to amend these GTC. The current version is always available on the operator's website.
These GTC are valid and effective from: 15 June 2026
